Family Membership welcomes members of one household into the Cape Fear Bonsai Society learning community for the 2026 calendar year (January–December).
Household members may participate together in demonstrations, workshops, visiting artists, and shared study throughout the year. Membership sustains the society’s programming and supports continued educational opportunities for all members.
Membership includes:
• Participation for members of one household
• One designated voting member per membership
• Name badges issued to household members (upon initial membership)
• Priority access to workshop registration
• Attendance at demonstrations and presentations
• Opportunities to exhibit work at the annual Expo
• Opportunities to coordinate private instruction with visiting artists through the society (artist fees arranged separately)
Minor household members may participate in activities with a parent present.
Membership Terms
Membership is valid January–December 2026. Memberships are not prorated. One vote is granted per membership. Name badges are issued upon initial membership and are not reissued annually. Please report lost name badges for replacement cost. Membership dues are non-refundable.
The Cape Fear Bonsai Society, established in 2001, is a group that meets monthly to study and practice the art of Bonsai.
The club has an active program of training through workshops, guest speakers, and a sharing of Bonsai expertise. Membership is open to both the novice and the more experienced practitioner of Bonsai.
